Quite simply, the best little scissors for trimming and clipping I have ever used. I discovered these about a year ago, now keep one pair on a ribbon around my neck and have another at the ironing board. Perfect for nipping threads, ideal for close trimming an enclosed seam, accurate for clipping into a corner. Super sharp---I just can't say enough good things about such a simple little too. The Kai people took their basic little 5 inch scissor and put a slight curve into it, and, voila, a brilliant improvement. 5 stars!!! |

My favorite new tool, (thanks to a quilting friend who alerted me to it), cannot use anything else for ripping. This is a surgical instrument, and the blade can be replaced as it dulls (I always want a spare on hand). Takes a bit of getting used to, and you must be careful, but it slides into a seam and with a gentle motion, cuts right through the threads. Love love love it! Comes with spare blades. |

After much fussing and testing, this is THE product I love for interfacing the body of handbags. A non woven sew-in it is just the right weight for many of the bags I've been making recently (3 handbag patterns are coming up in the months ahead). Even though it is called 'lite', it really is a good basic mid weight with many uses.

A brand new and very cool item straight from ready to wear. Flexible (yet soft) plastic wire, designed to insert into a seam or channel so it can be bent or shaped. How to use? In a collar, front edge, pocket, hem or.....(you fill in the blank). I bought a little cotton vest that has wire in the front edge and collar and have loved it.
