Dubarry Stripe Silk Taffeta - was $20, now $12 Subtle and stunning, and lightly crisp with narrow warm toned pale pale pink and gray lengthwise stripes, this is one of those super flattering skin tone colors that are PERFECT for a spring/summer blouse like Issey Miyake V1052 or my peplum blouse, V8709 or Lynn Mizono's new shirt V1274. Krista Larson uses similar fabrics for skirts, pants and her signature camisole/vests.
Taking a cue from designers like Giselle Shepatin who uses 'washed' silk taffeta, I might toss it into the washer/dryer (TEST a swatch first!). This WILL change the hand and appearance, it gets softer, loses some of the shine and in some cases develops (appealing to me), soft overall wrinkles which kicks back the silky surface and makes the fabrication less dressy.
