Deepa Cotton Ikat Woven

Richly colored shades of green, gold and deepest forest enhance a hand woven ikat dyed cotton stripe from India. Ikat is a technique in which the warp threads are resist-dyed prior to weaving. Some of the most interesting and soulful fabrics are coming out of India today where hand made textile traditions continue. Light weight, opaque with a lightly textured appealing cool hand, airy drape and 2" repeat. Just right for a tunic, shirt, jacket, vest, dress, skirt or soft pants. 

Pre-treat by wash/dry gentle. After sewing wash gentle and air dry.
