Beautiful quality black and gray houndstooth reversing to dark heather gray, deadstock, double sided wool coating produced in Italy for a southern California designer. Coating weight, similar to melton with a cozy brushed hand and malleable soft drape. No raveling, so no seam finish required and you could use the raw edge as a design detail - and it has a lovely selvedge too. Beautiful Italian quality, right for a jacket, coat, vest.
