Honey Japanese Cotton Double Gauze Woven

Dappled random dots in warm brown and ivory scattered across a pure white background from the brilliant Japanese designer Naomi Ito for Nani Iro. The unique weave is actually two layers of fine light cotton woven together and the effect is airy yet opaque and stable, a popular clothing fabric in Japan, as it is breathable, supple, soft and very comfortable in both cool and warm weather, a pleasure to sew with and to wear. Lightweight, right for both tops and bottoms, dress, tunic, shirt, light jacket, vest, kimono, caftan duster coat, soft pants, children's clothes. Makes lovely accessories, small bags, pot holders, table linens etc too.
