Icy pale blue silk organza has rows of raw edged cut 'petals' machine stitched in horizontal rows across the width of the fabric, deadstock from a NYC designer, produced in India. The irregularly shaped hand cut petals are hand overdyed  in a tone on tone color with the base fabric. Lightly crisp and airy, semi transparent with a soft, sculptural, dimensional drape. Dry clean. Test a swatch if you want to hand launder, but with caution - silk organza can become soft and lose crispness if laundered.
