Hand dyed silk organza in shades of blue, purple and pink has been cut and stitched neatly into 1 1/4" strips with a stitched and finished edge, then the strips are woven and sewn/tacked together to form squares which in turn forms a whole fabric leaving some areas open, but making a stable finished fabric. Intricate, takes skill and time and is fabulous! Lightweight, semi sheer, airy and lightly textured. Deadstock from the '90's, produced in India, rare, limited quantity. Would make a fabulous jacket, vest, dress.
Dry clean. Test a swatch if you want to dip in cool water and air dry.
