PRICED AND SOLD BY THE 1/2 YARD
EXAMPLE: TO ORDER 2.5 YARDS ENTER 5 IN THE QUANTITY BOXDark charcoal, almost, but not quite black, stretch cotton blend denim for pants in a perfect weight for now into spring, not too light, not too heavy. Has a smooth matte surface, cool dry hand, with crosswise stretch and excellent recovery...a top notch basic. I search for this type of silky stretch cotton similar to what I see in Eileen Fisher basic pants. Right for narrow pants, jeans, capris, skirts or light jacket or vest. A very nice quality basic, for everyday, travel and wardrobe building. Pattern suggestions: Marcy’s skinny pant: Vogue 8859 or Sandra Betzina’s flattering updated version of the classic sailor pant, Vogue 1464, or Marcy’s flattering ‘Euro’ pant duo: Vogue 8929, or Vogue 9155. Buy 2 1/2 yards for full length pants unless you are tall, then buy 3 yards.
Pre-treat by machine washing gentle and air dry, and do the same after sewing. After pre-treating I never put blacks or darks in the dryer unless I want to fade them.
