Thanks to my SF designer friend, who shared the source for this fabric. We are delighted to offer it once again - and I ordered a LOT! From an upscale SF designer, a truly fabulous one of a kind fabric. Laser cut light weight blue denim is mechanically 'stitched' to black lace, and the denim edges are intentionally raw and lightly fringed so the abstract flower pattern shows up. The 'stitching' is feather-light and invisible on the right side, shows up as narrow 1/4" vertical stitching lines on the back. Light and airy, yet very stable, sheer in the lace areas, has an appealing hand on both sides, soft drape, almost no raveling at the cut edge. Should be easy to sew, and a very fun fabric to design with. I can see this in a jacket, vest, duster, tunic, or used in combination with other fabrics. You could line it or leave sheer or line parts of a garment. Would make a fun layering piece to wear over basic black and denim too.
Pre-treat by hand launder and air dry.
