Shades of blue and green squares on warm white in a beautiful double ikat hand woven cotton from India. Some of the most interesting and soulful fabrics are coming out of India today where textile traditions continue. Double Ikat is a technique in which both warp and the weft are resist-dyed prior to weaving, so it it is more difficult to make and more expensive. Lightly textured shirting weight, opaque with an appealing cool hand and airy drape. The weight is right for a tunic, shirt, jacket, vest, dress, skirt or soft pants. This is one of those fabrics that will just keep getting better over time. Ideal for warm weather travel.
Pre-treat by wash gentle and air dry. Launder separately.
