Lace is one of the darlings of the fashion world, and this one is special. From an upscale SF designer, I'm calling this is a woven, not a knit as it has no stretch. Dark navy with a geometric circle motif, feels like cotton, sheer, stable, with a soft drape. Sewing will be easy if you stitch using tissue paper or a tear-away stabilizer like Totally Stable. No raveling, so a seam finish is optional, serging the seams would work well too. Right for a top, tunic, cardigan or vest. You could combine with other fabrics, layer on top, use for part of a garment or make a layering piece. I think you could use a loose fitting t-shirt pattern as a starting point, cutting it larger and fitting as you sew. This will be a fun fabric to design and play with. I can see it as a slightly oversized cardigan to layer over summer tops and dresses.
Pre-treat by hand launder and air dry.
