Looks and works like 'boiled'/felted wool, the fabric I've been seeing in upper end ready to wear in Paris, (coats, jackets, vests, accessories), customers have asked for it, and has been hard to find in the US. Firm jacket/coating weight, softly brushed hand, dense, with a structured drape and an appealing soft and cozy, non-scratchy hand. Does not ravel so will be easy to sew and wear. The weight can work indoors or out and makes a good layering piece. Use raw cut edges if you want, line or not.
