Rich color saturated rust and gray are cross woven in creamy gorgeous washed linen..the cross weaving gives a beautiful fine texture and depth, and the final wash finish renders the fabric soft and smooth.  A beautiful light/mid dress or shirting weight linen, heavier than hanky weight, airy and opaque with no lingerie show through. Has an appealing hand, fine grained texture and supple drape...will be a pleasure to sew and wear. The weight is right for a shirt, blouse, top, tunic, dress or skirt, and you could use it for soft pants too. This is one of those linens that would take well to pleating/crinkling. This gorgeous warm rusty/brick/cinnebar color will work well with basic black and gray too.

Pre treat by hand laundering or machine wash gentle and air dry. You can toss linen in the dryer if you want all over wrinkles, but always pre test a sample, some fabrics respond well, others not so well. Test Test Test. After laundering hand wash or machine launder gentle and air dry. I like to take my linens out of the laundry while still very wet, hang on a hanger and pull and smooth the seams and hems, allowing the weight of the water to do the work, then touch up with an iron or not.
