Pale heather gray reversing to ivory in a fine quality double sided ponte from an upper end southern CA designer. Use either or both sides, no rolling at the cut edge so no seam finish is necessary. The double sided weave makes for a more substantial crispness, but it is not thick. Ponte is a generic term for a double knit, but the fiber content can vary. This one has the ideal fiber content, is a blend of rayon/nylon/spandex, has a lightly heather texture, with a cool dry hand, beefy, but crisp drape, and 4 way stretch. This is the ideal fabric to use seams to the right side or incorporate raw edges. Right for a jacket or vest, would work for a more structured dress or skirt, but I think it is too crisp for pants. I can see it in jacket (or make as a vest), Vogue 8430, Butterick 6169, or Katherine's simple to sew little jacket that incorporates selvedge and/or raw edges, Butterick 6101.
Pre-treat by machine wash/dry gentle. After sewing, hand launder or machine wash gentle and air dry.
