Classic sweater knit, a tweedy mix of DARK navy (almost black), and white blended with a silver yarn in a rib knit from the upscale southern California t-shirt line 3 Dot in a very nice quality. Mid weight, a bit chunky, a bit of loft with crosswise stretch, some rolling at the cut edge and moderate recovery. Choose a style with simple lines, right for a cardi, sweater-y top or tunic. This is a fabric I'd do some seam testing on to determine best finish (serging would be good), and whether to stabilize seams or not. I always put a strip of fusible tricot on the back shoulder seam to prevent stretching, and with this knit, might do the same at the neck edge, but NEVER with vertical seams as that can cause unsightly tugging.
Pre-treat by machine wash/dry. After sewing wash gentle and air dry flat.
