Lost In Translation French Digital Stretch WovenErcea
Quietly beautiful gray on gray digital stretch cotton blend print from a French mill, produced exclusively for marcytilton.com. Abstract pale text and symbols on a darker gray background. The base fabric reminds me of those used by upscale European RTW designers like Oska and Rundholtz, has a smooth matte hand, crosswise stretch, and lightly crisp malleable drape. I search for this type of fabric for pants, jackets, vests, jumpsuits, dresses etc., as the smooth surface makes it an ideal layering piece as things slide on, over and off with ease. The presence of nylon is always a sign of quality and adds a luxurious smoothness. Cut on the cross grain so the stretch goes around the body.
Wind and Rain and Lost in Translation are different prints in the same color way on the same base fabric, so they mate well together.
Pre-treat by wash/dry gentle.
