Our best selling blue denim lace is now available in white. Laser cut light weight white cotton is mechanically 'stitched' to white lace, and the denim edges are intentionally raw and lightly fringed so the abstract flower pattern shows up. The 'stitching' is feather-light and invisible on the right side, shows up as narrow 1/4" vertical stitching lines on the back. Light and airy, yet very stable, sheer in the lace areas, has an appealing hand on both sides, soft drape, almost no raveling at the cut edge. Should be easy to sew, and a very fun fabric to design with. I can see this in a jacket, vest, duster, tunic, or used in combination with other fabrics. You could line it or leave sheer or line parts of a garment. Would make a fun layering piece to wear over basic white, colors and black. We made a quick curtain for the ArtBarn door, to make shade and keep the air flowing, photo belos.
Pre-treat by hand launder and air dry. I tossed a cut into the washing machine on gentle and air dried and it came out beautifully. The cotton edges raveled just a bit (in a good way).
