Artful Spatter Silk Crepe De Chine Woven

Whimsical abstract painterly floral in shades of turquoise on white accented with ecru and black, deadstock from an LA designer. Lightweight silk crepe de chine, opaque, with a light crepe texture, cool hand and liquid drape.  Right for a dress, shirt, tunic, skirt, to use as a floaty layer, to line or not.
Limited quantity.

I cut sheers and silkies on top of paper, squaring off the end to align the grain. Place the pattern on the fabric, pin and cut through all the layers. The paper keeps the shape of the pattern pieces so you can move them around to mark without distorting the shape. Sew with a sharp fine needle. French seams are perfect with this fabric.

Pre-treat by dip in cool water and air dry.
