Elegant airy black silk is interwoven with gold metallic threads, so that it is stripes on one side and checks on the other, deadstock produced in Italy for a NYC designer. Lightweight, semi-sheer, with a smooth, cool silky hand and light airy drape. Right for a shirt, top, tunic, skirt or dress. The 45" width is an indication that it was produced on older looms.
