Beautiful basic black cotton gauze with subtle tone on tone eyelash stripes. Lightweight, airy, stable, with a soft vertical crinkle on the eyelash stripes, breathable and very comfortable, commercially pre-washed, with a soft hand and airy drape. New York designer deadstock will be a pleasure to sew with and to wear. Supple shirting weight is great for a blouse, dress, shirt, top or sophisticated children's clothes.
Pre-treat by wash gentle and air dry. Softens and has more loft when put in the dryer. Test a swatch to be sure. After sewing, I recommend wash gentle and air dry.
