Cobalt Japanese Double Gauze Cotton Woven

Artistic azure blue lines with occasional brown accents are sketched on white double gauze cotton from the talented Japanese designer Naomi Ito for Nani Iro. Fine quality organic cotton is opaque, with a smooth hand, supple drape, and 24" repeat. The unique weave is actually two layers of fine light cotton woven together and joined at regular intervals, and the effect is airy yet opaque and stable; a popular clothing fabric in Japan, as it is breathable, supple, soft, and very comfortable in both cool and warm weather, a pleasure to sew with and to wear. Lightweight and right for both tops and bottoms, a dress, tunic, shirt, light jacket, vest, kimono, caftan, duster coat, soft pants, or children's clothes.
