Ikat Silk Kimono Jacket

Magnificent silk dupioni ikat in a modern adaptation of a classic Japanese Noragi jacket, a loose-fitting garment with an overlapping front held by ties, but also works well worn open. has a dropped shoulder and faced sleeves that can be rolled up or down. Fabrics of this quality are rare as they are no longer being produced in India - it is a very fine-grained silk dupioni, with subtle slubs, and a double weave stripe mixed in with the stripe design. The hand/texture is soft, cotton-like, but with the finesse of fine silk.
