Two Shrugs — Vogue 9190 - Marcy Tilton Fabrics
One knit. One knit and woven. Two completely different styles are in the pattern envelope. Both are easy to sew and fit, with a wide variety of fabric possiblities...these are essential layering piece for all seasons, and so practical to pop on over a t-shirt, tunic or dress.

Version C/D shown below: made in a border print jersey with black linen woven used for the yoke. Fronts are a double layer of self fabric. The back has a drawstring at the hem an soft gathers at the yoke.

Another version of view C/D uses 2 jersey knits, a print for the body and a stripe for the yoke and cuff. if using a knit for the yoke and cuff, stabilize with a fusible interfacing...I find it easier to fuse the fabric before cutting out the pattern pieces

Version A/B has a collar with a drawstring and long or 3/4 sleeves. Shown below in a light weight ponte.

The sewing is so quick and easy. The version below uses one of the new novelty knits, a double layer with a frayed effect on the right side and is smooth on the back side so it slides on easily. I am imagining this shrug cut longer, maybe shorter in front, longer in back...or maybe cut it very long and straight to wear over a tunic and narrow pants.
