Beautiful richly colored hand-dyed and hand-woven cotton ikat from India, with a charming softly blurred zig-zag pattern. Ikat is a technique in which the threads are resist-dyed prior to weaving. Some of the most interesting and soulful fabrics are coming out of India today where hand made textile traditions continue. Lightweight, opaque with an appealing cool hand and airy drape. 8" repeat. Just right for a tunic, shirt, light jacket, vest, dress, skirt or soft pants.

Pre-treat by wash/dry gentle. After sewing wash gentle and air dry.
