Wild Rose Italian Cotton Plissé Woven

Charming floral with a vintage vibe in shades of pale yellow and soft green in a fine grained cotton plisse, deadstock from an Italian mill.  The base fabric has a subtle woven in vertical jacquard stripe which has been overprinted, then treated to create a lightly puckered surface. Lightweight, opaque, with a woven-in lightly puckered texture and airy drape that is ideal for warm weather. Right for a dress, shirt, top, skirt, soft pant, loungewear, kimono, caftan, children's wear. One way design, 15" repeat.

Seersucker is created by a woven-in process. Plissé is created by applying a solution that shrinks part of the fabric, leaving it puckered.

Pre-treat by washing gentle and air dry. Do not put in the dryer.
