Slate Mist Linen Plissé Woven

Pale nickel gray yarn dyed linen in a light airy puckered plissé, deadstock from LA designer Chalet Et Ceci. Lightweight, semi-opaque, with a cool, softly textured hand and softly structured drape. Woven in horizontal and vertical stripes with alternating opaque and semi-sheer areas. Rare and beautiful! Right for a dress, skirt, shirt, jacket, tunic, vest, soft pant, kimono, caftan, or men's shirt. 

Marcy says, 'I put a swatch (¼ yard) in the washer on gentle/cold/low and air dried. It shrank a little, and tightened up the pucker effect a bit, but came out beautifully. It can be pressed with care, steaming after pressing restores the pucker.'

Hand launder cool, air dry or machine wash gentle/cool/low spin Test a swatch before putting in the washing machine as machines vary. Do not put in the dryer.
