Mulberry Whole Cloth Cotton Kantha Woven

Rich floral patterned cloth is over-dyed in purple and the top is hand stitched vertically in bright colors to a solid purple cotton backing and the selvedge edges are tucked under with a decorative stitch which neatly finishes the piece. From India where handmade textile traditions continue. Soft and supple, right for garments, accessories and home decor. The mid weight is right for a shirt, dress, tunic, jacket, coat or vest.

 The fabric is hand made - produced to order in artisan workshops.
