Stunning painterly abstract in a beautiful black and gray crushed velvet in a fine quality knit, deadstock from an LA designer. Crushed velvet is twisted and flattened while wet, resulting in a splotchy moiré pattern and an appealing irregular texture. Mid-weight with a soft velvety hand, silky smooth on the back side, a fluid drape with crosswise stretch, and excellent recovery. Cut for nap. A fabric to dress up or down; right for a top, t-shirt, dress, skirt, cardigan, hoodie, jacket, kimono, caftan, or soft pants.
