Alhambra Italian Wool Sweater Knit

Dramatic wool knit with a burst of stylized dimensional flowers in shades of red, black and white on a gray ground. A uniquely beautiful fabric, it appears felted but is actually produced on specialized knitting looms in an Italian mill. Designer deadstock, a dramatic and richly colored wool knit with a lovely selvedge, 27" repeat and some crosswise stretch. Cozy and soft, with a brushed surface. A touch of rolling at the cut edge - easy to sew, as the cut edge does not ravel, so no seam finish is needed. Airy coating weight with a bit of loft. Right for a coat, jacket, vest, sweater, poncho or accessories
