Astoria Taffeta Woven

Discreet black and tan mini woven in checks in a lovely taffeta, deadstock from a NYC designer. Lightweight but with substance, with a malleable sculptural drape abd appealing smooth hand. I search for this type of taffeta that I see in upper end clothes in Paris and Japan, love it for my own wardrobe for layering jackets and vests. Perfect for layering - the smooth hand assures that other garments will slip over/under easily. Right for a jacket, vest, duster coat, dress, skirt, caftan, kimono, soft pants. Ideal for travel; no wrinkling, folds down to almost nothing. The subtle pattern and coloring will blend with other colors and patterns too.
