DAZZLING DIGITALS

COTTON LAWN PRINTS
BY MARCY & KATHERINE TILTON

FLOATY SHIRT

The Floaty Shirt (B6995) made with PADMA, one of our exclusive new Indian cotton lawn digital prints created by Marcy and Katherine Tilton in collaboration with the artist who created the original digital paintings. We went back and forth playing with scale and density. It was such a happy moment when the fabrics finally arrived...they are even more beautiful than we imagined!

AZUL

100% VISCOSE WOVEN

A delight of diverse dots in shades of navy and sky blue on a fine quality viscose. Lightweight, stable, opaque, with a soft smooth hand, beautiful liquid drape and a 12" repeat. Just right for a dress, blouse, tunic, skirt, fluid pants, kimono, caftan, or loungewear.

Marcy says, 'The abstract dots are muted and appealing and are denim friendly too. I can see this in a fluid shirt, drapey dress or soft pants."

CARAMINA

ECOVERO VISCOSE KNIT

Earthy abstract in shades of carmine, rich rust, taupe, and aubergine on a fine quality supple ECOVERO™ viscose/spandex jersey. Lightweight yet stable with a buttery hand, fluid drape, opaque with 4-way stretch, rolling at the cut edge, and a 15" repeat. Right for a t-shirt, cardi, tunic, top, dress, skirt, kimono, caftan, leggings, or loungewear.

Marcy says, 'Fabulous color way in a stunning Italian knit that would make a statement tunic or t-shirt or dress. I'd consider adding black accents - like neck binding or maybe one sleeve in black!'

NEW RELEASES

CAROUSEL PAISLEY

ITALIAN VISCOSE KNIT

A striking contemporary paisley in pink on white in a buttery viscose knit, digital deadstock from an Italian mill. Light/mid-weight, opaque, with a soft hand, liquid drape, 29" repeat and 4-way stretch with some rolling at the cut edge. Right for a t-shirt, tunic, dress, skirt, soft pant, kimono, caftan, loungewear, or leggings.

Marcy says, 'This is a really beautiful color way that enhances the whimsical print, just the thing to brighten up winter and wear on into spring.'

BLUE BRACTS

ITALIAN VISCOSE KNIT

Art Deco dots in shades of navy, cornflower blue, and taupe on white in a buttery viscose knit, digital deadstock from an Italian mill. Light/mid-weight, opaque, with a soft hand, liquid drape, 3" repeat, and 4-way stretch with some rolling at the cut edge. Right for a t-shirt, tunic, dress, skirt, soft pant, kimono, caftan, loungewear, or leggings.

Marcy says, 'While I rarely wear blue, it is the #1 favorite color of most of the world, so I keep my eye out for blue fabrics, (buy every good one I find), and this one with falling leaves is a beauty. Another aspect I search for in fabrics is a touch of black so the design relates to basic blacks - pants, tops, jacket etc. Another plus is that leaves are one of my favorite botanical designs.'

FRANDOSA

ECOVERO VISCOSE KNIT

Leafy abstract in shades of green, olive, moss, charcoal, brown, teal, and black on a fine quality supple ECOVERO™ viscose/spandex jersey. Lightweight yet stable with a buttery hand, fluid drape, opaque with 4-way stretch, rolling at the cut edge, and a 14" repeat. Right for a t-shirt, cardi, tunic, top, dress, skirt, leggings, soft pant, kimono, caftan, or loungewear.

Marcy says, 'Green is my favorite color - green toned fabrics are a bit harder to find than blue, so I am always on the look out for the good ones. This Italian jersey is a gorgeous rich mix of warm greens and browns in an abstract design that looks as if it was taken from a painting.'

MAGIC CARPET

ITALIAN VISCOSE KNIT

A magical mix of classic geometric patterns in warm shades of golden ochre, brown, rust, taupe and green with touches of black in a buttery viscose knit, deadstock from an Italian mill. Light/mid-weight, opaque, with a soft hand, liquid drape, 29" repeat and 4-way stretch with some rolling at the cut edge. Right for a t-shirt, tunic, dress, skirt, soft pant, kimono, caftan, loungewear, or leggings.

V9193 in cotton flannels

It has been SO cold here in Oregon that I have been longing for soft, cozy, comfortable clothes - but with flair! I'm not a flannel collar shirt person, but wanted something part t-shirt, part, tunic, part loungewear to layer under vests and sweaters. I started with Vogue 9193 and our Black Speckles Cotton Flannel plus a cut of checked flannel and knit stripe from my stash. Playing and planning as I cut, I placed the checks on the bias and used the soft knit at neck and wrist. LOVE the cool drop pocket!
