Black Iris Embroidered Silk Woven

Deep black silk shantung is embroidered overall in a subtle tone-on-tone black floral. Elegant and sophisticated deadstock from an LA designer. The embroidery is flat with a subtle sheen and adds a touch of weight to the fine grained silk, which is not at all thick or heavy. With a lightly textured hand, a 7½" repeat and light crisp drape. Really beautiful! Right for a dress, jacket, duster coat, tunic, shirt, kimono, caftan or soft pants.
