Graceful toile in black on brick red with leaves, birds and architectural details, printed on a lovely linen/viscose woven. Designer deadstock from an Italian mill. Linen gives body to the fabric and the viscose keeps the wrinkles to a minimum. Light/mid-weight, with a cool dry hand, a 25" repeat, and soft drape. Right for a tunic, shirt, light jacket, soft pants, vest, caftan, kimono or dress. As used by Marcy in V1817 shown here.
