Tupelo Honey Cotton Kantha Woven

Pieced patterned cottons are sewn together, then over-dyed in a soft honey-tan. The pieced top is hand stitched vertically to a solid cotton backing and the selvedge edges are tucked under with a decorative stitch which neatly finishes the piece. The fabric is made by hand in 10-12 yard pieces - let us know if you want one entire piece for a project. Soft and supple, right for garments, accessories and home decor. The midweight is right for a shirt, dress, tunic, jacket, coat or vest.
