Rhada Ikat Woven
Rhada Ikat Woven
Charming circles in a warm white on black double ikat, a hand-woven cotton from India that is naturally blurry in an appealing way. Some of the most interesting and soulful fabrics are coming out of India today where textile traditions continue. Double Ikat is a technique in which both warp and the weft are resist-dyed prior to weaving, so it it is the most difficult to make and more expensive to produce. Light weight, opaque with a lightly textured appealing cool hand, and airy drape. The weight is right for a tunic, shirt, light jacket, vest, dress, skirt, caftan or soft pants.
